Lowell High School Literature


Weekly Student/Parent Bulletin
Distributed every Monday in registry. Contains information on meetings and activities and often has announcements of interest to parents as well as to students.
Senior Bulletin
Distributed every Tuesday to all senior registries. Contains information on visits from college representatives, applications, scholarships, and other topics of interest to seniors. Extra copies are available in the VICCI Center (Room 118).
The Lowell
The student newspaper, published every three weeks and distributed in registry. The articles are interesting, well written, and informative.
Lowellight
Published four times a year by the PTSA and mailed to all Lowell families. The considerable postage costs are paid by PTSA memberships and donations. Extra copies are available in the VICCI Center and Book-to-Book Center.
The Red and White
The yearbook published annually by students in Yearbook class and distributed in the fall of the following year in order that the spring activities of each graduating class may be included. Students desiring a copy must pay for it the autumn preceding publication.
Lowell Student Handbook
An informative guide to Lowell given to all new students. Parents should read it in addition to A Parents' Guide to Lowell, since it contains information not included here. The Lowell Student Handbook contains space to record four years of courses, grades, and activitiesa very useful record when college application time nears.
The Myriad
Students wishing to publish poems or other literary efforts should join the staff of this maga- zine. It is published annually in early June and is self-supporting through its sales. If interested, please see members of the Myriad staff or its faculty sponsor. All submissions are welcome.
